Book Club: The Halloween Edition

I asked and you answered. The book club this month shall be...

The Rest Falls Away
by Colleen Gleason

The deadline will be October 31st (of course!) at which point I will publish a discussion post where we can comment and argue over which gentleman we think should be the hero. (Warning: I hear that there is not a HEA, perhaps more of a HFN or a Happily Some Day since it is the first book in a series.) I hope you will all read with me. I look forward to seeing what you think of the book.

Katie- heh. I have heard others express the same sentiment. :)

Alys- Can you request via the Internet? We can do that in Chicago, which saves me tons of time. Good luck with the request!

Ummm, allow me to represent for the other side...

Whatever, Sebastion, GO TEAM MAX!

Shannon, you should let Colleen know you're doing this, she's wonderfully responsive to stuff like this and LOVES talking to readers. I believe I'll pull out my copy and read along...

Can't wait to read the discussion!

Oh! I love the new blog look!

Uh oh, ladies. Are we going to have a rumble here? Just let me know. I'll make sure to lay out the mats if we do.

MK- I actually contacted her this afternoon. I had the pleasure of meeting her a couple of months ago when she visited Illinois. I am hoping she will pop by and chat with us all.

Heh. I think I am on Team Max, cause of the rose thing I heard about.

This is the next after Virgin River for me....too many book clubs!

Katiebabs - I'm with you TEAM SEBASTIAN *she shouts and ducks for cover as MK/Kati turns to see who is making such a loud racket*

Looking forward to it Shannon.

Marisa and Kate, I'm questioning your sanity...

But then, some girls love the bad boys, and some girls love the cranky boys. Personally, I go for Captain Crankypants any time!

Oh yay! I read this over the summer. I won't play, though, if there will be talk about subsequent books. I am NOT spoiler friendly, and haven't gotten a chance to read past the first book yet. I have them all, mind you... I'm just S L O W. ;)

There better not be discussion of events in future books! I haven't ready any of them yet. I want to remain spoiler free, as well.

Okay, I am on page 270 and so far I am not liking the direction the book is going. Why has nobody talked about Phillip? Does something bad happen to him? Jeez, this is why I shouldn't read comments.

Anyway, you picked a good one Shannon. We should have some interesting discussions!
